Best Nightlife Spots In Berlin

Best Nightlife Spots In Berlin

Berlin is a hive of activity, and the fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. Home to some of the world’s most renowned nightclubs, the German capital is an excellent choice for anyone who is looking to enjoy a holiday that is packed with cultural and historical attractions to visit during the day, as well as teaming with night time fun in the evening. Berlin is a breeding ground for new musical styles and scenes, so you’re sure to find some cutting edge clubs and experiences waiting for you – no matter what type of night out you’re into.

These days, Berlin is an extremely liberal city, and this provides an atmosphere that ensures a good night out. What’s more, this attitude means that Berlin is home to clubs in all kinds of shapes and sizes, from massive classic rock or techno venues to smaller establishments offering cutting edge alternative sounds. But if techno is your thing, you really will be spoilt for choice in Berlin.

Some of Berlin’s most exciting clubs include Matrix Berlin in Friedrichshain, where you’ll find up to seven floors of mayhem, and Steinhaus Berlin in Prenzlauer Berg, bringing you the hottest tunes. In the Mitte district, you find great clubs like Weekend, King Kong Klub or Kaffee Burger, all ideal for people looking for a party atmosphere. If you’d prefer something a little edgier, the Kreuzberg area could be just right. There you’ll find some particularly cool venues, the Club Maria and Spindler & Klatt to name just two.

If you want to see one of Berlin’s most legendary clubs for yourself, then you need to pay a visit to the Berghain and Panorama Bar. You can expect the party to carry on all night long at this industrial-style warehouse venue, and the atmosphere is truly electric.

When you’re planning a trip to Berlin, you’ll find there are plenty of different accommodation options to choose from. What’s more, the city has an excellent subway system with trains that run late into the night, meaning you should be able to find hotels in Berlin that ensure it’s easy for you to make the most of nights in the city. Do make sure you pick up a tube map though and it’s always a good idea to take a phrase book, as even though many club and pub workers will speak some English, it’s polite to at least try ordering your drinks in German.
