Benidorm Holidays - Karaoke Bars

Benidorm Holidays - Karaoke Bars

Benidorm can be a little excessive for some people, but for most it is the ideal holiday destination. Exciting and entertaining for people of all ages. You couldn't find a livelier family holiday if you tried. With a vast selection of Holiday deals at the moment now is an ideal time to take advantage of the offers that can be found on-line. There are numerous pubs, clubs and cabaret bars, but Karaoke bars rule in Benidorm, with more than any other European holiday destination. With this in mind I have compiled a list of some of our favourite Karaoke bars in the area where you can perform to your hearts content.

- Cumberland Bar - It's now one of the most established Karaoke bars in Benidorm. Owned by a British couple they make this bar feel like your visiting old friends, just relaxed and fun. They also host cabaret and quiz nights on Sundays.

- New Yorker - One of Benidorm's most popular Karaoke bars. It has a great atmosphere and is open right through from 2pm until 2am.

- The Carousel - It's located a stones throw from 'The Town' night club. This bar is run and owned by local comedian Gary George and has big TV screens which show funny out takes and clips.

- The Lepin Irish pub - Situated opposite the Pheasant Plucker, this large Irish pub has a friendly atmosphere and an impressive sound system.

- Yorkshire Pride 1, 2 and 3 - These are modern bars with big LCD screens throughout. Famous for their large food portions they remain a favourite for anyone who enjoys their food.

- Star and Garter - The staff are very welcoming and drink prices are reasonable too, considering the entertainment is all included. The pub also has a witty karaoke presenter who creates a great feel to the place.

- Rose and Crown - Big screens are throughout the bar providing entertainment for the adults. Children's rides are everywhere too ensuring everyone is catered for. Also providing a large sheltered terrace and outside bar you can enjoy your evenings outside or in. A giant screen is also made available for sports too.

- Shooters Singers Bar - Although not strictly a Karaoke bar, if you fancy yourself as a bit of a crooner and know the lyrics to a few songs then you will be popular here! All the performances are backed by a keyboard player who starts at 9pm and finishes in the early hours. What more could you want, a good atmosphere and inexpensive drinks.

- St James Tavern - A great British pub in central Benidorm where you will find traditional British food cooked to order and of course Karaoke.

- Tommy's Karaoke Bar - Drinks are as cheap as 1 Euro for a pint of lager and the entertainment is first class. They have a small bar providing Karaoke more or less every day, from early in the day until the early hours. Please note that the entertainment may not be very suitable for children.

So there we have it, just a very small selection of singing establishments in Benidorm where you can exercise your vocal chords. Somebody once said 'Sing out loud, especially if it embarrasses your children', Amen to that!

The Benefits of Villa Holidays

The Benefits of Villa Holidays

The winter chill is abundant, but don’t let it get you down – now’s the perfect time to start planning that all-important summer holiday. The lure of the beach is hard to resist and just imagining being by the sea is enough to get through the winter months, but why not give regular hotels a miss? Villa holidays can be the perfect alternative, and here are just a few benefits of opting for them.

• Space. When you’re in a villa you’re not confined to a single hotel room, making it the ideal choice for families or simply for people who don’t like to be cooped up. There’ll be all the rooms necessary for total comfort, and many villas in Spain, Portugal and similar areas come complete with pools for even more luxury.

• Privacy. Being in a villa offers far more privacy than you’ll ever be able to find in a hotel. You’re free to do as you see fit without hotel staff or other guests watching your every move, and a lot of the time that can be invaluable. There’s also no need to share a pool or any other area that would normally be “public”, allowing for total control to keep things much more private and family-centred.

• Schedule. You can keep to your own schedule when you’re in a villa, meaning there’s no need to get downstairs to breakfast at a certain time and no mad rush for the poolside chairs. The whole holiday will be far more enjoyable and laidback, creating the perfect summertime break.

These are just a few reasons that villa holidays are so popular, and there are sure to be many more besides. They ultimately allow for total relaxation and can offer the ideal holiday, so anyone wanting to find the perfect break would be well-advised to consider them.
